DMIMSU Celebrates its 13th Foundation Day at University Campus


Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences (DMIMSU, Deemed to be University) celebrated its 13th Foundation Day on 24th May, 2019 with zest and joy at the University Campus, Sawangi (Meghe), Wardha, Maharashtra, India.

The Registrar Dr.A.J.Anjankar who joined as the guest of honour, hoisted The University Flag in the presence of Dr.Abhyuday Meghe, OSD, DMIMS, Dr.Abhay Mudey, Dean, JNMC, Dr.Sudhindra Baliga, Dean, SPDC, Dr.Shyam Bhutada, Dean, MGACHRC, Dr.Atharuddin Qazi, Principal, RNPC, Dr.A.J.Pakhan, Convener Exam. Cell, Dr.Chandrasekhar Mahakalkar, CMS, AVBRH, Dr.P.M.Mohite, Vice-Dean, JNMC, Prof.Seema Singh, Principal, SRMMCON and Mrs.Indfu Alwadkar, Principal, FNTCN, Shri Sanjay Ingley, PRO, DMIMS(DU), Faculty Members, Non-teaching staff and students were present in large number.


On the occasion, The Registrar Dr.A.J.Anjankar delivered the welcome address to the dignitaries on dais, Faculty members, Non-teaching staff and students who were present to participate in the Foundation Day function.
The Registrar Dr.A.J.Anjankar spoke at length about the achievements of the University, where he said that the University has achieved several mile stones in education and research because of the vision of Hon’ble Chancellor Shri Dattaji Meghe, Dr.Vedpakash Mishra, Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor. Hon’ble Shri Sagarji Meghe gave a free hand to the Officials of the University to ensure that the Institutions live up to the international standards of learning and excellence.  Under the dynamic leadership of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr.Rajiv M.Borle, the University in the recently concluded NAAC inspection was accredited with ‘A+’ Grade and the University was also conferred autonomous status by the UGC placing it in elite Group-I category.
